So what if my fully breaks? Yes, I also needed a Hardtail.
My Scott Scale RC also came from Nora Pure Sports but as with my fully I wanted some parts changed to make it lighter and faster.
The frame itself is only as light as a bottle of water – I was amazed by this piece of art. I changed the standard fork to the better model from Fox Racing Shocks. Also the breaks got replaced to my favorite disc breaks, the Shimano XTR. Some changes on the bar, seat post and saddle to spare some grams. Also the drivetrain got a little bit modificated, with the Sram Eagle X01 12speed cassette, and a new 32t Sram Eagle XX1 chainring- of course the chain too.
The biggest change was the wheel set, so I was choosing my favorite wheels and hubs. I paired the Stans Notubes Crest MK3 with some aerospokes and the good old DT-Swiss 240s. The bike was done, with some light pedals it came to a total weight of only 8,9kg within a small budget.
